How to install an SSL Certificate
There are three commen ways to install an SSL Certificate:
- Automatic SSL
- Manual SSL Installation
- Cloud Free SSL Setup

Method # 1 Install Ferr SSL Using cPanel.
If you Use Hostinger ,Namecheap,Bluehost,HostGator or any commen Hosting Provider ,install SSL is very easy.
Step1: Log in to cPanel
The cPanel is very important because this is your Hosting Control panel. When you serach it any browser then cPanel of Hosting provider is open and Here is your Hosting or Domain details.
Step2: Open SSL/TSL Status or SSL Manager
In your Hostinger cPanel the Dashboard open and bellow to home settings Website option Visible and When you click on website the website List option also visible at website list when you search SSL in search bar so it automatically open Your website with domain name and you will easily see the SSL option is Enable it it Enable so Green color check mark show that SSL is already applied other wise you will do it manually.
Method#2: Manual SSL Installation .
Manual SSL only install if you have CRT Files.If you purchase a paid SSL like (Comodo,Sectigo etc) you will receive three files:
- Certificate(crt file)
- Private Key
- CA Bundle
Step 1: Generate a CSR
Go to cPanel of your any Hosting provider then go SSL/TSL and generate CSR Fill in:
- Domain
- Company info
These will generate a CSR and Private Key for you.
Step 2: Submit CSR to your SSL Provider
In this method your Domain and Hosting Provider Company give you SSL Certificate files.
Step 3: Install the Certificate
In your cPanel go to SSL/TLS and install your SSL Certificate here you required to paste:
- Certificate
- Private Key
- CA Bundles
Now click and press install then your SSL Certificate Successfully.
Method#3 Cloudflare Free SSL (Best for Beginners)
Cloudflare is a sytem or a company like your Hosting and Domain providers that provide SSL for free.Now we understand step by step how can you do this.
Step 1: Create a Cloudflare Account
Search a Cloudflare name on your Favourate Browser and Create an account on it .Then add your Domain.
Step 2: Change Nameservers
Replace your registered nameservers with Cloudflare.
Step 3: Enable SSL Mode
Go to SSL/TSL then select full mode.
Step 4: Enable “Always Use HTTPS”
When you Enable this setting then this forces all the traffic to” https”.
By using any Method always check your website URL if it show “hrttps” then your website is secure.
Important Steps after installing SSL
Force HTTPS Redirect
After installing SSL Certificate you must be done some important steps go to cPanel of your Hosting provider and go to the Domains option and here is option visible is “Force HTTPS ON”. Most importantly you choose this option force HTTPS ON when you Manually add SSL Certificate . If your SSL Certificate is pre activated as normal case with lot of Hosting providers that automatically add HTTPS Certificate on your website .
Some Important points if you are old user or You make more then on websites .
If you make more then one websites make sure that your other websites also have SSL Certificate and the methord is same for all websites for inquiring the SSL Certificate.
